Lower Decks

Lower Decks looks to be leaving Prime Video (UK)

It looks like Star Trek: Lower Decks is leaving Prime Video (at least in the UK) just as season 4 is about to be with us. As I write (August 30), seasons 1 & 2 look to be OK, but season 3 has moved to purchase only. There’s some confusion as it still also appears as free, but following through the link gives a ‘not available’ message.

We shouldn’t be surprised (remember the Discovery fiasco), but can still be disappointed. One more title for the list of things to binge on a Paramount+ trial. I assume Picard will follow suit at some stage. The oldest series (last century) seem to be widely available, so I’m hoping Enterprise will stay on Netflix long enough for me to finish.

Another day in the wacky world of streaming!
