Bittersweet news for fans of Prime Video’s The Boys. Season 4 is out today, but we also learn season 5 will be the final season. The story is expected to live on with Gen V. I first read this on Cancelled SciFi.
The initial concept was the show might get five seasons and the linked article points out the economic cusp for expensive shows tends to be at the five season point, with examples of The Witcher, Stranger Things and Star Trek: Discovery. I wonder how true that rule is for other big shows? I may return to the topic.
Until then, there’s an election (or two) to watch, though our real-world UK version is lacking in supes;-)
