The BBC has released extensive details of their coverage of the upcoming (starts Friday) Euro 2024 football tournament. Although it focuses on all the ways to engage via the BBC, if you scroll down there’s a full breakdown of the group stage matches showing which is covered by BBC or ITV.
There’s a lot of detail on presenters, a new dedicated iPlayer channel and a lot more. The iPlayer channel already has snippets from past Euros. It will be fascinating to see how ITV and BBC perform over the tournament — traditionally viewers prefer BBC when matches are jointly screened, presumably on the basis of no advert breaks.
