Since my last few posts on the topic of a potential Paramount takeover, the story had taken more twists and turns. As far as I understand it, the Sony offer cooled off, at a key corporate meeting the current management presented an alternative way forward (mix of sales, joint ventures and cost savings), more discussions with Skydance and it seems even a new bidder.
